Art director, designer, musician and ‘crypto toy taxidermist’.
Following the success of his Super Beast outing in the Mambo: A Bunch Of Kunst group exhibition at the Monster Children Gallery in 2006, Scott kicks off his first solo show at the Damien Minton Gallery.
Cut & Shut, the show features 10 recent 3D works including
Guitarist Wanted, Must Have Own Transport.
The work is inspired by Scott’s insatiable love of art, music, toys and hot rod ‘kustom kulture’.
Scott has just completed a 10 year tour of duty with the Mambo surf and streetwear brand, serving as art director.
He is currently assisting the recently launched Deus Ex Machina motorcycle
company with the design and development of their first major clothing and accessories range.
Earlier this year Scott art directed ‘Bra Boys’, a documentary about the much publicized Maroubra surf ‘clan’. The film has recently become Australia’s most successful feature length documentary.
